Richard Maddox

Richard Maddox is an associate in the firm's Corporate Group. His practice is primarily committed to the firm's commercial portfolio review team, which provides services to lending institutions in connection with distressed credit relationships, including support of the special assets divisions of national and regional banks in workout matters, foreclosures and asset assessment.

Mr. Maddox's corporate practice includes representing companies from start-up through typical growth cycle events such as private equity transactions, debt transactions, mergers and acquisitions and major contract negotiations.

Mr. Maddox joined Busch, Slipakoff & Schuh, LLP in September 2010. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Maddox practiced in the area of creditors' rights at an established bankruptcy firm in Atlanta, Georgia while also working as a research consultant at Emory University.
