Adam Slipakoff

Adam Slipakoff is a founding member of Busch, Slipakoff & Schuh, LLP and a member of the firm’s business transactions, corporate and taxation practice group. Mr. Slipakoff’s principal areas of concentration include corporate finance matters such as public and private securities offerings, merger and acquisition transactions, and broker-dealer and venture capital matters. Mr. Slipakoff has represented businesses at all stages of development and in a variety of industries. His merger and acquisition practice includes structuring and financing acquisitions and divestitures for public and privately owned companies and involves both domestic and international acquisitions. In the corporate finance arena, Mr. Slipakoff has represented clients in connection with private placements of equity and debt securities, venture capital, project finance and mezzanine finance transactions, and ongoing compliance issues under the federal and state securities laws. He is a frequent speaker on corporate finance topics, such as venture capital financings and private placements.

Mr. Slipakoff served as senior corporate associate for several years at Powell Goldstein LLP, one of Atlanta and Washington D.C.’s largest and most respected law firms. Mr. Slipakoff graduated from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. In addition, Mr. Slipakoff received an MBA in Securities Analysis and an undergraduate degree in Finance from the University of Florida.

Recent transactions include an $860 million initial public offering to construct four ethanol plants in the southeast and a $100 million venture fund to grow timber in South America. Mr. Slipakoff also serves as General Counsel for UniPro Foodservice, Inc., the world’s largest foodservice distribution network with over $36 billion in combined sales.
